Symptoms of lactic acidosis in Diabetes mellitus
Early symptoms: Only fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, lethargy, and slightly deeper and faster breathing.
Late symptoms: There are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, soreness of the whole body, cyanosis of the lips, deep breathing, but no ketosis, decreased blood pressure, weak pulse, rapid heart rate, dehydration, disturbance of consciousness, weakened limb reflexes, decreased muscular tension, dilated pupils, deep coma or shock.

Commonly seen in diabetes patients taking large amounts of biguanide drugs, those complicated with infection, sepsis and serious chronic heart, lung, liver and kidney diseases also tend to cause increased lactic acid production and metabolic disorders. II. the physical examination found that:
Low body temperature, deep and large breathing, flushing of skin, lowering of blood pressure, shock, and disturbance of consciousness.
III. auxiliary inspection:
Blood lactic acid increased ( > 5 mmol / l ), blood ph < 7.35, anion gap > 18 mmol / l, NaHCO3 < 20 mmol / l.
